This booklet is a collaboration between Scholastic Classroom Magazines and the National Institute on Drug Abuse. This collection of articles is designed to teach youth in grades 6-12 about how drugs of abuse (e.g. inhalants, prescription drugs) affect the brain and body. Sections on drug abuse trends, AIDS, obesity, and drug addiction are included. These articles were distributed in Scholastic magazines nationwide during the 2004/2005 school year.
